Avoid – Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight as this can cause your leather to fade and dry out, leading to cracks and tears. If you must wear your leather clothing in the sun, please apply a leather conditioner to protect it from the sun’s harmful rays. This will also help preserve the purity of colour. Furthermore, leather clothing is also not waterproof and exposing it to water can cause damage. If your leather clothing gets wet, avoid using heat to dry it as this will cause the leather to shrink or become stiff. Instead, use a soft towel or cloth to pat it dry and allow it to air dry naturally.
Smoothing Of Folds – Leather clothing can develop creases and folds over time. To smooth out these wrinkles, hang your leather clothing on a padded hanger for a few days. If the wrinkles are particularly stubborn, you can try using a cool iron on the absolute lowest temperature setting. Place a clean, dry cloth between the iron and the leather to avoid scorching.
Store Properly - Please avoid storing your jacket in a plastic cover as these can trap moisture and cause mold & mildew growth. Instead, use breathable cotton or linen covers to protect your leather clothing from dust & dirt.
